Winona Benson started her health coaching service in January 2016, and the vision is still developing. She seeks people who are ready to make a change in their health and lifestyle. Having had her own health issues, she learned to eat her way to health - and now she is passionate about showing the way to better health through food, with better preparation. She has worked for years for UAF, teaching nutritional education.
She works with local holistic doctors to develop individual plans for that person - the whole person - with 12 different aspects of their life. Career, relationship, stress, diet, environment, and cooking skills - these are some of the things that affect health.
Partnering with other health professionals allows Winona to find her clients when they need her most, but you can contact her directly for a free consultation, with or without medical referral.
Cooking meat and potatoes is a common skill, but Winona helps you round out your diet by teaching you how to cook vegetables that taste good!
