Since 2014, Aurora Flowers has provided designed floral arrangements - with an emphasis on high-quality, long-lasting, fresh flower.  A premium product should last as long as possible, and be designed with the best possible skill.  That's why Aurora works with a staff of highly trained, talented and experienced designers!

Heidi Gardipee, lead designer and shop manager, brings 37 years of floral experience to Aurora Flowers, and to the loyal customer base they've already built!  Working hand in hand with Amanda Coyne, her daughter (not the writer!), this mother/daughter team lend their background to the forefront of this local business!

Sandra Cook is the consummate potter, having made pottery - from clay to cup - since 1968.   She's been doing pottery in Alaska since 2009.

Sandra's work can found in many cabinets and on shelves throughout Alaska, and the Mid West.  You might have seen her booth at assorted fairs and marketplaces around the State - or perhaps seen her live Raku firing demonstrations at events like Art on Fire, Midsummer Garden and Art Fair, Machetanz Arts Festival and Who Let The Girls Out.

Her products are available Town Square Art Gallery in Wasilla, at Dancing Leaf Gallery in Talkeetna, but most of her sales are at festival/fair-type events in the summer.

She operates her studio as an art studio, and prefers not to do special order pieces - but she will make an exception if it is artistically interesting to her.

aber art is another passion for Sandra, which is available at the annual Valley Fiber Art Guild show in November.
